InPost Lockers

Collect. Return. Send. InPost. Your parcel locker service at Birchwood.

InPost make online shopping and sending parcels super easy.

HOW DO THEY WORK?

Whether you’re picking up or dropping off to send a parcel, all you do is scan a code and the locker door pops open. This locker will be available to use 24/7.

COLLECT

If you’re worried about parcels not being delivered safely at home from some of your favorite brands, you can choose to collect them 24/7.

RETURN

Returning parcels is a hassle and too time-consuming. Wrong!

SEND

If you’re selling something on eBay or sending a gift to a loved one, posting parcels has never been easier or more flexible.

Birchwood has two InPost lockers. Both accessible 24 hrs. a day.

Locker one is at the front of the Centre near to Aldi and the centre entrance at car park 2.

Locker two is at the rear of the Centre behind Birchwood Vets, close to the electric car charging points in car park 4.


Amazon Lockers

If you would like your parcels delivered to a safe, secure location, simply select Birchwood Shopping Centre as your preferred delivery location reference FOLLY when ordering from Amazon and your parcel will be sent directly to one of our secure lockers.

You will then be sent an email with a unique code and pick up instructions. Enter your code into the keypad on the lockers to access your parcel.

Deliveries will be held in the lockers for three working days after your code has been sent!

The lockers are inside the shopping centre and only accessible in centre opening hours.


Parking

Birchwood Shopping Centre offers 3 free hours of parking and has over 1,400 spaces available on 4 car parks.

  • In all car parks there are dedicated parent and child bays.
  • Disabled parking can also be found in all car parks. These are still subject to a max 3 hours free.
  • There is no facility to extend your visit beyond the free 3 hours.

If you know you are going to visit beyond the free 3 hours please use the dedicated Pay and Display car park for your entire visit. This is located at at the rear of Asda and is clearly identified on entry.

 

All car parks are managed by Smart Parking. The shopping centre does not manage the car parks and cannot deal with any PCN’s with Smart Parking on your behalf. Please follow the instructions on the rear of the PCN. Thank you.


Shopmobility Birchwood
Shopmobility Birchwood is a service run by a local registered charity ‘Warrington Disability Partnership’ and it provides motorised scooters and manual wheelchairs to anyone of any age with a permanent or temporary mobility problem.

How much does it cost?

There is an annual membership fee of £20.00 plus £1.50 per use. Day membership is also available. People who are existing members of Warrington Shopmobility will be able to extend their membership to use motorised scooters and manual wheelchairs at Warrington Disability Partnership’s Birchwood and Warrington sites.

Where are we?

Birchwood Shopmobility is located at the Warrington Disability store within Birchwood Shopping Centre. To book a scooter please ring the Warrington Disability store direct on 01925 251079.

Is there an age limit?

There is no age limit, but powered scooters can only be loaned to persons under 18 if they are accompanied by a responsible adult.

When are we open?

Birchwood Shopmobility is open Monday to Saturday 9.00am to 4.00pm. We are not open Sundays or Bank Holidays. All mobility aids must be returned by 3.30pm Monday to Saturday.

Do I have to live in Birchwood?

You do not have to live in Birchwood to borrow a mobility aid. Friends and family who are visiting Birchwood are also welcome to use the scheme.

Can I pre-book a Mobility Aid?

It is not always necessary to book in advance, but it is advisable to ensure that your favourite mobility aid is reserved for you. You can do this by calling the Warrington Disability store direct on 01925 251079 during the stores opening hours.

Homemobility

If, during time of temporary incapacity, you are in need of a motorised chair for use in the home we can provide one for you for a minimum of 1 week or up to 6 weeks. We will deliver the chair to your home and collect it when you no longer need it, all we ask for is a donation from you. Please ask our staff for more details.

The Centre also has plenty of disabled parking bays available in all car parks and standalone disabled toilets which are located in the toilet block next to Home Bargains.
We welcome any feedback about the service and how it may be improved.

Electric Vehicle Charging Points.

You can find the EV charging points at the top of car park 4.

These are free of charge and we operate a ‘moral’ usage approach. Please be courteous and vacate the space to allow others to use the service once you are charged.

Please be aware the use of the EV charging points are subject to the normal free 3 hour car park rules.

 


Parent And Child Facilities

There are a number of Parent and child designated parking spaces available in all car parks.

The toilet block includes standalone baby changing and parent and child unit facilities free of charge.


Security

Birchwood Shopping Centre is secured 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with guards and CCTV in operation throughout the centre.

Security guards patrol the site at all times. Bodycams are warn by all security staff. The staff are experienced and highly training in first aid and mental health and are available to help customers at all times.

CCTV recordings are NOT available to members of the public. These are only available on request for the emergency services and insurance companies.
