The team Birchwood Shopping Centre wish to thank the public for their ongoing support and understanding during lockdown 3.0.
Following the Government’s announcement to reopen non-essential stores on Monday 12th April we have been working hard to get the centre ready to welcome shoppers back safely.
The management team would appreciate shoppers continued support in respecting Government’s advice to adhere to social distancing when visiting the centre. This includes standing no closer than 2-metres when completing a transaction or when queuing, only using card payments and contactless where possible
We are asking shoppers to follow the directional and helpful signage which will be displayed around the centre. Please follow the guides on the floor.
There will be hand sanitiser stations at all entrances, please use the sanitiser when entering the centre.
Government guidelines state wearing an appropriate face covering by the general public and retail staff in shops, supermarkets, shopping centre malls, banks and post offices is now law. Exemptions include children under 11 years of age, people with breathing difficulties and people living with a disability.
The disabled toilets are open between 10am and 4pm, there will be no seating areas and limited children’s rides available and for hygiene purposes, we ask you not to eat or drink whilst walking around the premises.
Please be kind to our staff, we are here to help you and ask that you follow any guidance they may be offering.
